1. The service
Grant Engine, operated by The Lion Project, helps nonprofit organizations discover grant opportunities and prepare application materials. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of your organization.
2. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
3. AI-generated content
Application drafts, budget narratives, scores, and similar outputs are generated by AI as starting points. Your organization is solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, approving, and submitting all grant materials. We do not guarantee the accuracy of generated content or of grant listings, deadlines, or eligibility information, which are collected from third-party sources and can change without notice.
4. No guarantee of funding
Grant Engine helps you find and pursue opportunities. Funding decisions are made entirely by funders, and we make no representation that you will be matched with, apply for, or receive any grant.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the information and documents you provide. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to share what you upload.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unauthorized access attempts, scraping, reselling of grant data, submitting false organizational information, or using the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Lion Project's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
